A Psilocybin Immersion Retreat in Jamaica

April 2027 | Little Bay, Jamaica

A six-day immersive educational and ceremonial container designed to deepen connection to your own inner knowing, to the lands we inhabit, and to psilocybin as a living teacher.

Small cohort. Application required. Preparation begins before arrival.

6-Day Retreat
Fully immerse yourself in a professionally-held ceremonial container designed for depth and transformation.
3 Ceremonies
Tiered ceremony structure — microdose, low dose, and high dose — with full autonomy and agency around participation and dosage.
~12 Participants
We keep cohorts intentionally small to preserve safety, relational integrity, and individualized support.
Preparation + Integration
A complete program with guided preparation, live support calls, and structured post-retreat integration.
All Inclusive
Gourmet meals, accommodations, everything taken care of.
Land-Based
Reconnecting with nature on the Jamaican coast, held with humility and reciprocity for the land, culture, and community.

This retreat is an invitation to remember how to walk in balance: with yourself, with the medicine, and with the Earth.

It is not about becoming someone new, but reconnecting to the power that lives within you.

What participants often carry home

These are some of the ways participants have described their experience continuing to unfold after they return home.

A deeper connection to your body and nervous system
Not just as an insight, but as a lived, felt sense you can return to.
Greater clarity and self-trust
Many participants describe a quieting of the inner noise that had been obscuring what makes people feel the most like themselves.
A grounded understanding of psilocybin and integration
Not a one-time experience, but an introduction to psilocybin as a teacher that can be engaged with over a lifetime.
A sense of belonging
A feeling of deep community and finally coming home.
Tools to continue the work long after the retreat ends
The retreat is just the beginning: you leave with a practical framework for carrying what surfaced into your actual life.

The retreat is one part of a larger arc.

1
Prepare 3 weeks before

We begin together before you arrive. Guided resources and live Zoom meetings create space to meet your cohort, build trust, explore intention, prepare your nervous system, and establish a shared foundation for the experience ahead.

Guided resources · Live Zoom preparation meetings · Cohort connection
2
Arrive Day 1

You arrive and settle in slowly. The first day is intentionally spacious, with time to meet the land, connect with the group, and arrive in your body through gentle breathwork, mindfulness, meditation, orientation, and rest.

Welcome gathering · Orientation · Rest · Grounding practices
3
Meet the Medicine Day 2

Our first ceremony begins gently with a microdose experience, allowing you to meet the medicine and begin building relationship before deeper ceremonial work. The day also centers land, culture, community, and connection.

Land-based exploration · Microdose ceremony · Workshops
4
Deepen in Ceremony Day 3

We begin with embodied practice, reflection, and intention-setting before entering a deeper psilocybin ceremony. Dosage is always guided by your own readiness and choice. Your agency, autonomy, and consent remain central throughout.

Yoga · Intention · Full ceremony · Individual support
5
Listen & Integrate Day 4

We make space for what has emerged through somatic practice, movement, rest, facilitated workshops, reflection, and community. The focus shifts from having an experience to beginning to understand how it may live in your actual life.

Somatic work · Movement · Workshops · Integration circle
6
Return to Ceremony Day 5

We return to the medicine for a final full-dose ceremony. Sometimes the work deepens; sometimes it changes direction entirely. We make room for what comes without demanding a particular kind of experience.

Preparation · Full ceremony · Rest · Facilitator support
7
Gather & Close Day 6

We close as a community through breakfast, reflection, workshops, and a final sharing circle, honoring what has unfolded while recognizing that the work itself is not ending.

Closing circle · Workshops · Departure by 12pm
8
Carry It Home 8 weeks after

Integration is not an afterthought. For eight weeks after the retreat, we continue meeting online as a community with guided resources, facilitator support, and space to move from insight toward lived, embodied change.

Live Zoom integration meetings · Guided resources · Continued community support

The people who will hold this with you

Your retreat is guided by facilitators who bring both rigorous training and lived experience with this work. You will meet them before you arrive.

Mária Osero

Mária Osero, LNMF

Lead Facilitator & Founder of Ancestra
  • State-licensed psychedelic facilitator
  • PhD student in Clinical Psychology — liberation psychology & psychedelic-assisted therapy
  • Trauma-informed, somatic & person-centered practice

Mária's work lives at the intersection of clinical precision and ancestral reverence, bridging the gap between Eastern, Western, and Indigenous ways of knowing.

Rooted in her diasporic lineage and shaped by years working in mental and medical healthcare, she creates trauma-informed spaces that honor both the intelligence of the medicine and the innate wisdom of the body. She is especially committed to cultivating containers that feel safe, inclusive, and affirming for members of diverse or historically marginalized communities.

Grounded in somatic and person-centered practice, Mária approaches facilitation as both personal healing and collective liberation, ensuring that each journey is held with integrity, cultural humility, and deep reciprocity.

Sharon Whitefawn

Sharon Whitefawn, MA

Facilitator & Holistic Counselor

  • Certified in Meditation & Psychotherapy, addiction counseling & Reiki

In recent years, she has focused her work on expanded states of consciousness and therapeutic integration, supporting individuals in navigating profound experiences with clarity, safety, and compassion.

She is proud to identify as a grandmother, an elder, and a teacher to many. At the heart of Sharon's work is a commitment to healing in sacred reciprocity between self, community, and the living Earth.

Safety is the foundation of everything we do at Ancestra.

Considering a psilocybin retreat raises real questions. We're here to help make things clearer.

Is this legal?
Yes. Psilocybin mushrooms are legal in Jamaica, and Ancestra operates openly and transparently within Jamaican law.
Can I attend if I've never used psychedelics before?
Yes. Many participants are new to psychedelic experiences. Our preparation process is designed to help you understand what to expect and arrive feeling informed, connected, and supported.
What does the retreat include?
The full program includes the six-day retreat, three guided psilocybin ceremonies, lodging, meals and snacks, three weeks of virtual preparation, eight weeks of virtual integration, wellness and embodiment practices, experiential workshops, and ongoing support from the Ancestra team.
Who will be with me?
Cohorts are intentionally small, with approximately 12 participants and a high level of facilitator support. You will meet your facilitators and fellow participants during the preparation phase before arriving in Jamaica.
What if I have a difficult experience?
Challenging moments can occur during psychedelic experiences. Our facilitators are trained to support participants through intensity in a calm, grounded, trauma-informed way. You will not be alone during the experience, and integration support continues afterward.
Is there a screening process?
Yes. Every participant completes a detailed intake and screening process that reviews medical history, medications, mental health background, and other relevant factors to help determine whether the retreat is an appropriate fit.
What happens after I leave?
Integration continues for eight weeks after the retreat through group calls, guided resources, and continued connection with the team and cohort. These sessions support you in processing what surfaced and carrying meaningful changes into everyday life.

"Working with Maria was truly one of the most magical and deeply impactful experiences of my life. From the moment I met her I felt safe, seen, and gently held in a way that allowed me to fully surrender to the journey. I experienced a level of healing and release that I hadn't been able to reach through other modalities."
— Hillary
“The ceremonies were powerful & I felt safe the whole time. Somehow Maria & Sharon always knew what we each needed, how to hold us & help us release when needed. They two of them combined were the amazing guides and teachers. They were the perfect mix of spiritual, grounded, joy, peace, and magic... I walked away with insights that I could actually implement into my life, so much joy in my life again, & a sisterhood I can truly feel at home with.”
— Suyun Wu
